However, implementing this technology within the justice system presents significant challenges, including issues related to privacy, data security, algorithmic bias, and ethical concerns. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method and case studies to examine the concepts and applications of AI in the field of criminal justice. In addition to outlining the positive impacts of AI on judicial processes, it analyzes ethical challenges such as the risk of excessive uniformity and reduced judicial leniency. The findings indicate that while AI offers notable benefits for enhancing the efficiency of the justice system, human oversight and the establishment of appropriate legal frameworks for regulating and supervising this technology are essential. The study also presents practical recommendations for lawmakers and legal authorities aimed at improving the implementation of AI within Iran’s criminal justice system in a sustainable manner.</span> <span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'B Yekan';">استفاده از هوش مصنوعی در سیستم‌های قضایی و کیفری می‌تواند به پیشگیری از جرم، تسهیل فرایندهای تصمیم‌گیری و ارتقای دقت و شفافیت در تعیین مجازات‌ها کمک کند. با این‌حال، پیاده‌سازی این فناوری در نظام قضایی با چالش‌های مختلفی مانند حریم خصوصی، امنیت داده‌ها، تبعیض الگوریتمی و مسائل اخلاقی روبه‌رو است. این تحقیق از روش تحلیلی توصیفی و مطالعات موردی برای بررسی مفاهیم و کاربردهای هوش مصنوعی در حوزه عدالت کیفری استفاده کرده است. در این راستا علاوه بر بیان تأثیرات مثبت هوش مصنوعی بر فرایندهای قضایی، چالش‌های اخلاقی مانند خطر هم‌سان‌گرایی و عدم ارفاق قضایی نیز مورد تحلیل قرار گرفته است. نتایج تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که در کنار مزایای قابل توجه هوش مصنوعی در افزایش کارایی سیستم قضایی، نیاز به نظارت انسانی و ایجاد چارچوب‌های قانونی مناسب برای کنترل و نظارت بر این فناوری ضروری است. هم‌چنین پیشنهادهای عملی برای قانون‌گذاران و مجریان قانون در جهت بهبود پیاده‌سازی هوش مصنوعی در نظام عدالت کیفری ایران ارائه شده است.</span> https://www.jlj.ir/article_733092_e910e27c2348ab847dfe1177b48137a3.pdf
